Instructions
To determine if ODX is in use:
Start the ODX process on the client side.
ssh to the Unity as service user:
search for "IOCTL" in the c4_safe_ktrace.log
# grep IOCTL /EMC/C4Core/log/c4_safe_ktrace.log
If the following events are seen then ODX (Offload Data Copy) is being invoked.
SB: Vol 0xFFFFF88025B60D80 received IOCTL_XCL_POPULATE_TOKEN IRP 0xfffff88009846848
SB: Vol 0xFFFFF88025B60D80 received IOCTL_XCL_WRITE_USING_TOKEN IRP 0xfffff8800abc7718 for token
Start the ODX process on the client side.
ssh to the Unity as service user:
search for "IOCTL" in the c4_safe_ktrace.log
# grep IOCTL /EMC/C4Core/log/c4_safe_ktrace.log
If the following events are seen then ODX (Offload Data Copy) is being invoked.
