Symptoms
安全擦除功能使戴尔 PS Series （EqualLogic） 存储阵列能够安全地擦除数据，使其无法恢复。它首次随 PS Series 10.x 固件一起推出，其预期应用场景是停用阵列。安全擦除是通过在删除卷或从阵列中移出卷时将零写入磁盘上的数据来实现的。此功能支持成员删除、成员腾出和页面移动。
局限性
如果不停用阵列，则安全擦除过程可能会在清除数据时影响系统资源和 I/O 计时。在安全擦除过程清除之前，删除的数据块不能立即重新分配。
在某些情况下，例如 FST（可用空间问题），当自动删除旧快照或将某些页面移出系统时，清除数据可能会延迟从 FST 进程恢复。
Cause
擦除卷数据的后台进程以较低的优先级执行，以帮助维护主机 I/O。但是，如果在生产过程中使用，则池可用空间和性能可能会受到影响。通过擦除数据获得的空间在处理完所有数据块之前不会返回到池中。如果在严重依赖精简资源调配卷的环境中使用安全擦除，客户可能会遇到性能问题，并且由于可用空间不足来扩展精简资源调配卷而导致卷离线。
Resolution
禁用“安全擦除”
禁用安全擦除可以从 UI 或组 CLI 执行。UI：
客户可以通过从组配置高级选项卡中清除启用安全擦除复选框来禁用此功能。
组 CLI：
使用“grpadmin”帐户登录组。在组 CLI 提示符下，输入：
EQLGroupNamegrpparams >secure-delete disable。
