Symptoms

Alarm VXR008006 is reported on vCenter cluster summary page.
The Compliance report shows the details of the alarm.

Cause

This issue happens when an unexpected component is detected in the compatibility check.

The compatibility check validates the version of:

  • VxRail Manager
  • VxRail-provided vCenter (if present)
  • ESXi
  • Driver
  • Firmware
  • VxRail software on ESXi
