クラウド メタデータ階層のストレージ容量が90%を超えた場合は、DDに関する以下のアラートが表示されることがあります。
EVT-SPACE-00004: Space usage in cloud metadata storage has exceeded 90% threshold.

上記のアラートが修正されない場合、クラウド メタデータ階層の領域が不足すると、すぐにデータ移動(FMIG)が失敗します。
次のアラートが表示されます。
Alert Id m0-xxx
Severity CRITICAL
Class Filesystem
Object Tier=xxxx-unit
Message Data movement has encountered an error.
Additional Information Cause=Cloud tier metadata capacity is full
Event Id EVT-FMIG-00001
Event Name FileMigrationError
Description File migration is suspended until this problem is resolved.

クラウド メタデータ階層のスペース使用率は、次のコマンドで確認できます。
# filesys show space tier cloud local-metadata

Cloud Cleanでメタデータ階層のスペースを解放できない場合は、シェルフを追加する必要がある場合があります。
以下のマニュアルで、Data Domainモデルでサポートされているメタデータ シェルフ/パックの最大数を確認できます。
『DD Hardware Features and Specifications』

上記の出力では、4つのディスク グループのみがクラウド メタデータ階層に追加されています。つまり、クラウド メタデータ階層に1つのdgを追加できます。

サポートされている最大数のシェルフがすでにクラウド メタデータ階層に追加されている場合は、先に進まないでください。

物理DDのクラウド メタデータ階層にディスク エンクロージャまたはパックを追加する手順

1> シェルフが物理的に接続されたら、Storage addable disksでDDからそれらのシェルフが使用可能であることを確認します。

2> 30分のダウンタイムを発生させ、FSを無効にします
      # filesys disable

3> ディスク シェルフをクラウド階層に追加します。
     # storage add tier cloud {enclosures <enclosure-list> | disks <disk-list>}
Specify <enclosure-list> as: A comma or space-separated list formatted
{<enclosure-id>[:<pack-id>]} or <enclosure-id>-<enclosure-id> 
例： # storage add tier cloud enclosures 6:3 Checking storage requirements...done Adding enclosure 6:3 to the cloud tier...Enclosure 6:3 successfully added to the cloud tier. Updating system information...done Successfully added: 6:3  done
   
4> 現在のクラウド階層サイズの下にアップデートされた容量が表示されるようになりました
     # storage show all
