Symptoms

Se un NVMe non Intel è installato nello slot 1 dell SSD M.2, potrebbe non essere rilevato nella configurazione del dispositivo del BIOS per creare un array RAID. Le informazioni sul dispositivo non vengono visualizzate in Device Configuration (F12) → Intel(R) Rapid Storage Technology. (Figura 1). Il problema si verifica solo quando si installa un'unità SSD NVMe non Intel nello slot SSD M.2-1.

Cause

Il driver Intel RST non supporta le unità NVMe di terze parti collegate a Rocket Lake-S PCIe 4.0 direttamente allo slot CPU M.2 (slot 1). Questo è il piano di registrazione di RKL-S.

Resolution

Si tratta di un limite del design Intel. Gli array RAID non possono essere configurati con un'unità SSD non Intel di terze parti installata nello slot SSD M.2 1.

Di seguito sono riportate le opzioni per configurare Precision 3650 Tower for RAID:

  • Installare un'unità SSD NVMe Intel nello slot SSD M.2-1.
  • Installare questa unità SSD NVMe di terze parti in altri slot (SSD M.2 slot 2 o slot 3 supportati dalla tecnologia Intel RST).
