Tarkoitus

Sisältää ohjeet, joilla iDRAC (Integrated Dell Remote Access Controller) voidaan nollata ohjelmallisesti IDPA (Integrated Data Protection Appliance)- tai PowerProtect Data Protection Series ESXi -isännistä. 

Aiheuttaa:

Kirjautuminen iDRAC-käyttöliittymään ei onnistu tai iDRAC ei vastaa "racadm racreset" komento SSH-istunnossa:

iDRACia ei voi käynnistää uudelleen racadm-asemasta


Yritä sitten nollata se iDRAC Service Module (iSM) module -komennolla.

Päätöslauselma:

  1. Kirjaudu ESXiin root-tilillä ja suorita komento:
# /opt/dell/srvadmin/iSM/bin/Invoke-iDRACHardReset

or

# /opt/dell/idpa/bin/ipmitool mc reset cold
  1. Etsi iDRACin IP-osoite komennolla
[root@esx-4400:~] /opt/dell/idpa/bin/ipmitool lan  print |grep "IP Address"
IP Address Source       : Static Address
IP Address              : 10.XX.XX.XX
[root@esx-4400:~]
  1. Siirry IDPA ESXi -isännästä SSH-komennolla iDRACiin, jonka sisäinen IP-osoite on 169.254.0.1:
[root@esx-4400:~] ssh root@169.254.0.1
root@169.254.0.1's password:
racadm>>

iDRAC:n laitekäynnistys etäratkaisuna
iDRAC saattaa lakata vastaamasta useista syistä. iSM voi nollata iDRAC8- tai iDRAC9-ohjaimen, joka ei vastaa, nollaamalla iDRAC-ohjaimen virran tilapäisesti ilman, että tämä vaikuttaa käyttöjärjestelmän tuotantoon. Ominaisuuden voi poistaa käytöstä vain iDRAC:n iDRAC Service Module -sivulla millään iDRAC-liittymällä.
