Symptoms

PowerProtect Data Manager Kubernetes-Sicherung fehlgeschlagen. Sie sehen die Fehlermeldung 'Unable to create snapshots. Creating VolumeSnapshot exceeds safeguard limit.' in PPDM GUI.

Cause

In einem Fall, in dem dies beobachtet wird, wird der externe Snapshotter von Kubernetes in den „Standard“-Namensraum installiert, was ihn für andere Namensräume unbrauchbar macht.

Resolution

Bitte stellen Sie sicher, dass external-snapshotter für Namespaces verfügbar ist.
