Symptoms
Following is the error it throws while trying to configure the Email Alert:
Cause
The PowerPath Management Appliance (PPMA) instance isn't allowed in the SMTP server to configure email alert.
Resolution
Whitelist the PPMA instance/server in the SMTP server to configure the email alert.
Additional Information
Note:
By default, the sender email id is ppma_alert@dell.com and if that needs to be changed due to restrictions/policies in the environment then PPMA should be atleast at version 3.1 or above.
