Symptoms

スプリッター(Kdriver) VIB 次のような多くのエラーでインストールが失敗します。

Cause

ESXiホストには、次の設定があります VMKernel.Boot.execInstalledOnly trueに設定します。
この設定により、 kdriver vib Live Installationを使用して正しくインストールするには

RecoverPointスプリッターは、 VMKernel.Boot.execInstalledOnly true に設定します 。

Resolution

手順：

  1. ESXiホストで、 VMKernel.Boot.execInstalledOnly false に設定します 。
  • 次のESXCLIコマンドを実行します。
esxcli system settings encryption set --require-exec-installed-only=F
  • 変更を確認します。
esxcli system settings encryption get
Mode: TPM
Require Executables Only From Installed VIBs: false
Require Secure Boot: true
[Require executables only From Installed VIB]に[false]と表示されていることを確認します。
  • 設定を保存するには、次のコマンドを実行します。

    TPMは、 execInstalledOnly 起動オプション。 
  1. 注：上記のCLI手順から値を確認して、値がfalseに設定されている場合があります。ただし、vSphere UIでは、以下のフィールドで値が true に設定されているため、UIからも値を変更する必要があります。

Additional Information

この問題は、お客様がSTIG強化手順を実行するときに動作中のRecoverPointシステムにも影響を与える可能性があります。
この手順では、パラメーターを変更するデフォルトのSTIG値が設定されます VMKernel.Boot.execInstalledOnly = True.

この手順を実行するとESXi構成が変更されますが、次回の再起動またはアップグレード時に適用されます。アップグレードされたホストでは、RecoverPoint for VMで保護されたVMを実行できないため、VxRailのアップグレードの問題が発生する可能性があります。
