Symptoms

The following warning message appears on the Windows host:

Next time this machine is rebooted, PowerPath will be unlicensed unless this machine is connected to a PowerMax with FX software package
unlicensed error message

 

Cause

This is just a warning message stating that PowerPath is unlicensed post the reboot if there are no devices presented from the FX software package installed Array.

 

Resolution

If PowerPath is licensed with the FX license, then this can be ignored as this is a warning which is well documented in the Release Notes as well:
If the host with only FX license has all the PowerMax data devices removed, PowerPath is unlicensed on subsequent reboot.
Host is licensed through FX array
