Po instalaci nebo upgradu bude IP adresa ESXi DCUI 0.0.0.0.

DCUI se zobrazením nul IP adres

Cause

Ve výchozím nastavení operační systém ESXi vybere statickou IP adresu z vmk0.

Resolution

Řešení tohoto problému: 
  1. Přepněte dotčené uzly do režimu údržby.
  2. Nastavte správné rozhraní VMkernel a IP adresu pro správu a spusťte příkaz:  
    # esxcfg-advcfg --set vmk2 /Net/ManagementIface
# esxcfg-advcfg --set <IP address> /Net/ManagementAddr
  3. Zkontrolujte, zda jsou v níže uvedených souborech přítomna správná nastavení:  
    /etc/vmware/esx.conf > look for line: /adv/Net/ManagementAddr
/bootbank/etc/vmware/esx.conf > look for line: /adv/Net/ManagementAddr
/altbootbank/etc/vmware/esx.conf > look for line: /adv/Net/ManagementAddr
  4. Spustit auto-backup.sh a potvrďte stejná nastavení z výše uvedených souborů
  5. Restartujte hostitele
  6. Překontrolujte problém.
