PowerFlex Manager 3.8 same PowerFlex management IPs for 2 different hosts

Instructions

Symptoms:

  • PowerFlex Manager version is 3.8.x or older.
  • While upgrading PowerFlex Gateway through PowerFlex Manager sometimes it displays the same PowerFlex management IPs for 2 different hosts. powerflex manager 3.8 
  • Run-inventory on both the servers including gateway completes successfully but no change in behavior.
  • The nodes have the correct IP configured
  • The service details pane displays IPs correctly for all the nodes.KB11.PNG
  • The razor nodes <node_name> command displays the correct IP for both nodes.
  • Example:- razor node node21

     

Resolution:

This is a known display issue in the presentation layer, and it will be fixed in a future release.
There is no impact to the upgrade functionality so no workaround is required. Proceed with upgrade.
