Symptoms
PPMA throws an error while configuring LDAP server:

Cause
This specific issue occurred due to the difference between the Common Name (CN) (for eg. Test Name) and UserPrincipalName (TestName@domain.com) as the user "Logon Name" was set to TestName, it created the mismatch. Note there is no space in UserPrincipalName.
Resolution
Workaround:
As a work around, select "Server Type" in PPMA GUI as OpenLDAP and populate the attributes as per what's mentioned for an Active Directory server type.
Resolution:
This issue will be fixed in the future PPMA release.
Additional Information
Refer to the Installation and Configuration Guide for details on the Active Directory Server type attributes.
