Descrizione dettagliata: 

The watchdog timer is armed before the BIOS boot manager invokes an UEFI boot option. The watchdog is set to a period of 5 minutes. The Operating System boot loader from the boot option is required to disable the watchdog timer after it is successfully loaded, otherwise the system will reset if the timer expires.

Cause

Il timer watchdog è scaduto, causando la reimpostazione del server.

  • Il timer watchdog viene attivato prima che BIOS Boot Manager richiami un'opzione di avvio UEFI.
  • Il watchdog è impostato su un periodo di 5 minuti.
  • Il boot loader del sistema operativo dall'opzione di avvio è necessario per disabilitare il timer watchdog dopo che è stato caricato correttamente.
Attenzione: La scadenza del timer watchdog può causare la reimpostazione del server, con conseguente perdita o danneggiamento dei dati.

Resolution

1.Riavviare il server
2. Quando la barra di avanzamento di Hypervisor inizia a caricarsi, premere Maiusc+R (questa operazione deve essere eseguita durante il caricamento della barra e non dopo.
3. Premere ripetutamente Maiusc+R una volta "il server si sta preparando all'avvio" per assicurarsi di non perdere l'intervallo di tempo per eseguire il comando).
Viene visualizzato un messaggio di avvertenza:
Ripristino VMware 
3. Premere Y per ripristinare la build.
4.Premere Invio per l'avvio.
5. Dopo il riavvio del server e il caricamento del sistema operativo.
