SC Series: SSL Certificate expires in 14 days alert

Symptoms

Notified with "SSL Certificate expires in 14 days" alert.

 

Cause

The certificate is expiring soon or has already expired.

 

Resolution

Solution Summary

  1. Click "Edit Settings" from the DSM Summary tab.

  2. Select the General tab in the left pane, then click "Import or Generate new SSL Certificate" at the bottom of the screen.

  3. Check "Generate a new self-signed certificate for Storage Center".

  4. Click "OK".

  5. Confirm that the alert is gone.
