Symptoms

Nach Abschluss der Konfiguration von LDAP für VPLEX und der Anmeldung mit dem AD-Konto über SSH haben Nutzer die folgende Meldung festgestellt „Permissions on the password database may be too restrictive“.

Die Meldung wird scheinbar nur bei Verwendung von LDAP-Nutzerkonten angezeigt.
Abgesehen von der Meldung treten keine anderen Probleme bei der Verwaltung der VPLEX auf.

Cause

Die Meldung wird als kosmetisches Problem bei SLES11 angesehen.

Resolution

Die technische Abteilung hat dieses Problem getestet und es wurde festgestellt, dass die Meldung problemlos ignoriert werden kann.
