NetWorker：既存のデバイスを別のストレージ ノードに移動する方法

Summary: 1つのストレージ ノードに負荷があり、特定のストレージ ノードの負荷を軽減するために、一部のデバイスを1つのストレージ ノードから別のストレージ ノードに移動します。

Instructions

  1. NetWorker Management Console (NMC)にログインします。
  2. ［Devices］タブに移動し、左側のメニューから［Devices］を選択します。
  3. 変更するデバイスのデバイス プロパティを開き、［Auto Media Management］がチェックされていないことを確認します。このチェックボックスをオンにすると、NetWorkerはデバイスがアンマウントされたときに自動的にデバイスの再マウントを試行します。

  1. ［Devices］＞［Storage Nodes］で、NetWorkerリソースとして存在しない場合は、［New storage Node］を追加します。
  2. ［Devices］＞［Devices］から、デバイスを右クリックしてアンマウントします。
  3. 既存のDDデバイス リソースをコピーします。同じデバイス名を使用しますが、新しいSNではプレフィックスを追加します。      
Example: 
rd=storage_node_name:old_device_name

注：「rd=」で始まるデバイスは「リモート デバイス」を示します。これらは、NetWorkerサーバーのローカル ストレージ ノード(nsrserverhost)ではなく、「リモート」のNetWorkerストレージ ノードで構成されているデバイスです。
  1. 新しいデバイスをマウントします。
  2. ［Protection］＞［Policies］から、ワークフロー アクションを開き、アクション プロパティでストレージ ノードを変更します。

  1. 任意のジョブをデバイスに1回テストします。
  2. 不要になった古いデバイスを削除します。
