Symptoms
- La GUI di Unisphere mostra avvisi per diverse unità DAE:
- In questo momento, a causa della connettività back-end in loop, erano collegate solo tre enclosure di espansione, ma ne sono mostrate sei.
- Impossibilità di creare pool con queste unità e, se l'array fosse già operativo, i pool risulterebbero offline.
Cause
Cablaggio back-end errato.
Connessione problematica:
** Come illustrato di seguito, la porta SAS 1 sull'SPA DPE è collegata alla porta "B" della LCC A e non alla porta "A" e la porta 1 SAS SPB DPE è collegata alla porta "B" della LCC B dell'ultima DAE. In questo modo l'ultimo DAE è collegato contemporaneamente a 1_0 e 0_2. Cosa ha creato un loop?
Connessione problematica:
** Come illustrato di seguito, la porta SAS 1 sull'SPA DPE è collegata alla porta "B" della LCC A e non alla porta "A" e la porta 1 SAS SPB DPE è collegata alla porta "B" della LCC B dell'ultima DAE. In questo modo l'ultimo DAE è collegato contemporaneamente a 1_0 e 0_2. Cosa ha creato un loop?
Resolution
Rettificare la connettività come segue:
DPE - DAE 1_0
DPE - DAE 0_0
** Ricorda, il primo enclosure collegato alla porta SAS 0 sulla DPE è 0_0 se si tratta di una famiglia UnityXT e sarebbe 0_1 se si tratta della famiglia Unity xxx/xxxF/x50.
