Symptoms

Assenza di immagini video quando si utilizza il collegamento USB-C sul monitor U3421WE collegato a un adattatore DA305 e quindi a un notebook Latitude 5431 o Precision 3470 con un cavo USB-C.

Cause

Quando si utilizza l'adattatore DA305 tra il notebook e il monitor U3421WE, è possibile che si attivi il circuito di protezione da sottotensione, arrestando in questo modo il controller di erogazione dell'alimentazione.

Resolution

Per evitare questo comportamento, è possibile:

  1. Utilizzare un collegamento HDMI o DisplayPort (DP) dall'adattatore DA305 al monitor U3421WE anziché utilizzare un collegamento USB-C dall'adattatore DA305.
  2. Utilizzare un collegamento USB-C direttamente dal monitor U3421WE al notebook Latitude 5431 o Precision 3470.
