Symptoms

在這種情況下，Unity 陣列會執行 OE 5.2，而陣列中的所有 NL-SAS 磁碟機皆存在。

嘗試從 Unisphere 建立集區時，只有 RAID 6 可用 （RAID 5 和 RAID 10 無法使用）。

Cause

Unity 陣列正在依設計運作。

在 Dell Unity OE 4.2 版及更新版本中，動態集區是可在 Unisphere 中為全快閃式記憶體系統建立的唯一集區類型。此外，對於執行 OE 版本 5.2 及更新版本的混合式系統亦是如此。建立傳統集區需要使用 Unisphere CLI 或 REST API。此外，使用 NL-SAS 磁碟機建立動態集區時，使用 Unisphere 時僅允許使用 RAID 6。

您可以使用以下命令，從 CLI 建立傳統集區 
1) uemcli /stor/config/profile -traditional -configurable show    <- Shows the profiles available in the system

3) uemcli -d <IP Address> -u Local/admin -p <Password> /stor/config/pool create -name <Pool Name> -diskGroup dg_26 -drivesNumber 45 -storProfile tprofile_2 -type traditional           <- Command to create a traditional Pool (we use 45 of the 47 drives to leave 2 for spares)

Note: This command is run from a workstation with Unity uemcli installed.
Alternately the command can be run directly on the SP via an SSH connection:

uemcli -u Local/admin -p <Password> /stor/config/pool create -name <Pool Name> -diskGroup dg_26 -drivesNumber 45 -storProfile tprofile_2 -type traditional
