Symptoms

When a Dell Monitor is selected as a Playback Device, there is no sound.

Affected Monitors:

  • Dell 24 Video Conferencing Monitor C2422HE
  • Dell 27 Video Conferencing Monitor C2722DE
  • Dell 34 Video Conferencing Curved Monitor C3422WE

Cause

The Realtek driver, audio driver, Window Update, BIOS update, or Monitor Firmware may not be updated.

Resolution

Go to Sound setting and set the Sound Playback to Echo Cancelling Speakerphone as the audio default device.
