Cause
NetWorker vProxy errors out while contacting Data Domain for recover whereas the backups are good. vProxy requires a handshake with Data Domain.
Resolution
Use NBD to complete the handshake. Run recover using hotadd.
Initially in vProxy before any change both NBD and hotadd were set to 25.
vProxy was changed to use NBD mode only by setting hotadd = 0 and nbd = 10.

Later on both NBD and hotadd were set to 25 now. This was tested successfully with multiple VMs.
