Data Domain: Nelze vytvořit nebo přidat disk do vrstvy cache ve fondu úložišť

Instructions

Při vytváření vrstvy cache (nebo přidání disku do stávající vrstvy cache) v režimu fondu úložiště, jako je DD6400, bude k vytvoření svazku cache nutné v příkazu „storage add“ přidat atribut „force“.  Bez atributu „force“ v příkazu „storage add“ zůstane disk cache ve stavu „Available Disks (v)“ a žádná vrstva cache se nevytvoří, jak je znázorněno níže.

Řešení:

Pokud byl disk paměti cache přidán bez atributu „force“ a jeho stav se zobrazuje jako „Available Disks (v)“, proveďte následující kroky:
1. Připojte se k systému Data Domain prostřednictvím SSH a účtu sysadmin.
2. Zadejte následující příkaz: filesys expand

Tím se vytvoří vrstva cache, která se nyní zobrazí při použití příkazu storage show all.
