Instructions

在儲存集區模式 (例如 DD6400) 上建立快取層 (或將磁碟新增至現有快取層) 時，將需要在「storage add」命令中使用「force」屬性，才能完成建立快取磁碟區。  若在「storage add」命令中沒有「force」屬性，快取磁碟會保持在「Available Disks (v)」狀態，且不會建立快取層，如下所示。  
  
MMM DD HH:MM:SS hostname> -ddsh: NOTICE: MSG-DDSH-00009: (tty=pts/0, session=4924, client_IP=XX.XX.XX.XX) sysadmin: command "storage add disks 1.3 tier cache"

解決方案：

如果新增快取磁碟時沒有「force」屬性，且其狀態顯示為「Available Disks (v)」，請執行下列步驟：
1.使用 sysadmin 帳戶，以 SSH 連線至 Data Domain 系統。
2.在出現 ONIE 提示時，執行下列命令：filesys expand

這會建立快取層，現在使用 storage show all 命令時即可顯示 
sysadmin@DD # disk show state
