如需在 DD6400 等存储池型号上创建高速缓存层（或将磁盘添加到现有的高速缓存层），“storage add”命令中需要有“force”属性，才能完成高速缓存卷创建。  如果“storage add”命令中没有“force”属性，高速缓存磁盘将保持“Available Disks (v)”状态，并且将不会创建高速缓存层，如下所示。  
  
MMM DD HH:MM:SS hostname> -ddsh: NOTICE: MSG-DDSH-00009: (tty=pts/0, session=4924, client_IP=XX.XX.XX.XX) sysadmin: command "storage add disks 1.3 tier cache"

解决方案：

如果在没有“force”属性的情况下添加了高速缓存磁盘，并且其状态显示为“Available Disks (v)”，请执行以下步骤：
1.使用 sysadmin 帐户通过 SSH 连接到 Data Domain 系统。
2.运行命令：filesys expand

此命令将创建高速缓存层，现在在使用 storage show all 命令时将显示该高速缓存层
