Symptoms

  • 스냅샷 오류로 인해 NVP(NetWorker VMware Protection) vProxy 어플라이언스를 통해 수행된 여러 VM 백업이 실패합니다.
YYYY-MM-DDTHH:MM:SSZ ERROR: Snapshot creation task failed: There are currently 3 usable fault domains. The operation requires 1 more usable fault domains.
YYYY-MM-DDTHH:MM:SSZ ERROR: Unable to create quiesced snapshot: There are currently 3 usable fault domains. The operation requires 1 more usable fault domains.
YYYY-MM-DDTHH:MM:SSZ NOTICE: Snapshot free space threshold validation not requested.
YYYY-MM-DDTHH:MM:SSZ WARN: Retrying as a non-quiesced snapshot: Unable to create quiesced snapshot: There are currently 3 usable fault domains. The operation requires 1 more usable fault domains.
YYYY-MM-DDTHH:MM:SSZ INFO: Task to create snapshot completed, errors = true.

참고: 사용 가능한 장애 도메인 수와 필요에 따라 보고되는 수는 vSAN 구성에 따라 다를 수 있습니다.
  • VMware Snapshot Manager를 사용하여 스냅샷을 생성하려고 할 때 수동 스냅샷 생성도 실패하고 동일한 오류가 발생합니다.

 

Cause

다음 VMware KB에 따라 이 문제는 현재 환경에 있는 장애 도메인의 수가 충분하지 않기 때문에 발생합니다.

Resolution

VMware 관리자(또는 VMware 지원)에게 문의하여 VMware 장애 도메인 구성 문제를 해결하십시오. 이 문제를 해결하기 위해 NetWorker 또는 vProxy 구성을 통해 수행할 수 있는 작업은 없습니다.
