Symptoms

Geen functie voor aanwezigheidsdetectie in Dell Peripheral Manager

 

Mogelijk meldt Dell Peripheral Manager (DPeM) dat de functies voor aanwezigheidsdetectie ontbreken. Dit gebeurt als u de Dell UltraSharp webcam (WB7022) rechtstreeks aansluit op de USB-poort op de Dell UltraSharp monitor (U3223QE).

Cause

DPeM vereist een USB 3.0-verbinding om de functies voor aanwezigheidsdetectie in te schakelen. De directe verbinding tussen webcam en monitor maakt gebruik van USB 2.0, wat niet voldoende is om deze functie in te schakelen.

Resolution

Sluit de USB-kabel van uw webcam (WB7022) rechtstreeks aan op een van de USB 3.0-poorten van uw laptop.
