第12世代インテルCPUを搭載したPCでは、Dell Encryption保護が有効になっていると、Windowsログイン画面が起動しないことがあります。代わりに、BIOSまたは製造元のスプラッシュ画面に表示されたままになります。マシンを再起動すると、ログイン画面が起動する場合があります。
Cause
インテルによって発見されたセキュリティの問題(CVE-2022-21233)に対処するために、BIOSアップデートを使用して変更が導入されました。この変更により、一部のCPU識別子の処理方法が変更され、静的ではなく動的になりました。
Dell Encryptionは、改ざん防止機能としてCPU識別子を監視します。CPU識別子を変更すると、起動プロセス中に改ざん防止アラームがトリガーされ、SafeBIOS画面または製造元 BIOS 画面でコンピューターが応答しなくなります。
Resolution
Dellは、この問題を解決するための製品修正と機能拡張を含むDell Encryptionバージョン11.7.1およびDell Encryption Security Suite Enterprise 3.7.1をリリースしました。Dell Encryption 11.7.1は、 Dell Encryptionのドライバーおよび ダウンロード ページからダウンロードできます。
対処方法:
この問題の現在の回避策は、BIOS画面で応答を停止したPCでSDEリカバリーを実行することです。この問題は、SDEのリカバリーによって一時的に解決されます。この問題は、複数回再起動した後、またはこの問題の修正を含むDell Encryptionのアップデート バージョンがリリースおよびインストールされるまで再発します。
