PowerStore：FCポート フラップが原因で予期しないノードの再起動が発生する

Summary: 登録状態変更通知(RSCN)の処理中に、PowerStoreノードのFCドライバーでメモリー リークが発生することがあります。 その結果、システムにゾーニングされたポート名とノード名のリストを返すために必要なメモリーが、期待どおりに解放されない場合があります。

Symptoms

症状には次のようなものがあります。

  • 予期しない再起動によるノード パニック
  • FCポートのフラッピングによるカーネル パニック(メモリー不足)OOM
  • 影響を受けるホストHBAは安定した接続を取得できません
  • ホスト側でデータへのアクセスが失われる

 

Cause

SANファブリックでデバイスのステータスが変化すると(ログイン/ログアウト)、スイッチは接続されているすべてのデバイスにRSCN通知を送信します。
PowerStore FCドライバーは、スイッチにコマンドを送信して、PowerStoreのゾーンにあるWWNをクエリーします。
このようなクエリーにはメモリーが割り当てられていますが、適切に解放されていない可能性があります。

 

Resolution

PowerStoreOSバージョン3.5.x.xで修正された問題

予期しない再起動の後、ノードは自動リカバリーします。

 

Additional Information

障害のあるWWNを特定して修正するか、切断する必要があります
スイッチとホストのログを確認して、問題の原因を特定します。
ポート フラッピングの原因として、FCケーブルの緩みや汚れ、スイッチ ポートの障害、SFP、ホストHBA、ホストHBAのドライバー/ファームウェアの障害が考えられます。
ホストHBAドライバー/ファームウェアの互換性を確認する必要があります。
