Symptoms

VxRail Manager meldet einen Fehler beim Versuch, die vxrail-platform-service auf einem neu hinzugefügten Node.

  • Aufgabe bricht mit Fehler ab "Failed to stop vxrail-platform-service service!".

Cause

Der ICMP-Datenverkehr zwischen dem VxRail Manager und den neuen Nodes wird blockiert. Die Erweiterungslogik verwendet ICMP-Anforderungen, um die Erreichbarkeit des Node zu überprüfen. Wenn ICMP gefiltert wird, kann der Manager das Vorhandensein des Node nicht bestätigen, was zu "ip address not reachable" Fehler und die Unfähigkeit, die vxrail-platform-service auf dem neuen Node.

 

Resolution

Lassen Sie ICMP zwischen VxRail Manager und neuen Nodes zu, zumindest bis die Nodes zum Cluster hinzugefügt wurden.
