VxRail：節點新增工作失敗並顯示「停止平台服務」

Symptoms

VxRail Manager 在嘗試停止 vxrail-platform-service 在新添加的節點上。

  • 工作中止並發生錯誤 "Failed to stop vxrail-platform-service service!"。
  • 記錄項目表示平台服務停止要求無法到達節點。
  • 基本錯誤訊息為 ip address not reachable。

Cause

VxRail Manager 與新節點之間的 ICMP 流量會遭到封鎖。擴充邏輯使用 ICMP 要求來驗證節點連線能力。篩選 ICMP 時，管理員無法確認節點是否存在，導致 "ip address not reachable" 錯誤與無法停止 vxrail-platform-service 在新節點上。

 

Resolution

允許 VxRail Manager 與新節點之間的 ICMP，至少在節點新增至叢集之前如此。
