Symptoms

PowerProtect Data Managerアプライアンスは、VM Direct Engineソリューションを使用してvSphere環境を保護するために使用されます。
VM Direct Engineの導入が失敗し、IPアドレスがすでにネットワークで使用されていることを示すエラー検証が行われます。

Cause

VM Direct Engineの導入環境では、環境内で重複するIPアドレスを使用することはできません。IPアドレスは、管理者のデスクトップからのInternet Control Message Protocol (ICMP) pingに応答していませんでしたが、PowerProtectアプライアンスからは応答していました。

Resolution

環境内のIPの競合を解決するか、環境で使用されていない別のIPアドレスを使用します。
