Symptoms

Die PowerProtect Data Manager-Appliance wird verwendet, um die vSphere-Umgebung mit der VM Direct Engine-Lösung zu schützen.
Die Bereitstellung der VM Direct Engine schlägt mit einer Fehlervalidierung fehl, die darauf hinweist, dass die IP-Adresse bereits im Netzwerk verwendet wird.

Cause

Die VM Direct Engine-Bereitstellung lässt nicht zu, dass eine doppelte IP-Adresse in der Umgebung verwendet wird. Die IP-Adresse reagierte nicht auf ICMP-Pings (Internet Control Message Protocol) vom Administrator-Desktop, sondern von der PowerProtect Appliance.

Resolution

Lösen Sie die IP-Konflikte in der Umgebung oder verwenden Sie eine andere IP-Adresse, die in der Umgebung nicht verwendet wird.
