Windows Server 2022 Essentials 授權僅可向 OEM 購買。但是，沒有特定的安裝介質。而是使用 Essentials 版本的產品金鑰來啟動 Windows Server 2022 的標準版本。

- 在授權伺服器上的一個虛擬作業系統環境中執行一個伺服器軟體例項
- 如果同時運行兩個允許的實例，則在物理操作系統環境中運行的伺服器軟體實例只能用於運行硬體虛擬化軟體或提供硬體虛擬化服務。
- 您可以在授權伺服器上安裝和使用伺服器軟體的一個實例，或兩個受上述 B 小節約束的實例。本軟體僅能在具有一個中央處理器和最多 10 個核心的伺服器上使用。一次最多只能有 25 個唯一使用者或 50 個唯一設備存取和使用本軟體。
