Cause

NOTA: Se uno dei moduli DIMM è mancante o viene visualizzato un evento non correggibile nei registri eventi di sistema (SEL), i moduli DIMM devono essere sostituiti.
  1. Controllare i registri SEL per verificare che sul nodo siano presenti errori non correggibili.

Comando: (Comando remoto)

# sudo ipmitool -H <iDrac IP> -U root -P passwd -I lanplus sel elist

Comando: (nodo locale)

# sudo ipmitool sel elist

  1. Verificare se sono presenti DIMM mancanti a causa dell'evento.

Resolution

Raccogliere gli output dei comandi precedenti e aprire una Service Request facendo riferimento all'215723 della KB per esaminare il modulo DIMM del server per la sostituzione. 


Se il modulo DIMM è stato sostituito correttamente, xDoctor versione 4.8.92.0 o successiva richiede la cancellazione del SEL sul nodo interessato. Arresta ulteriori avvisi su questa voce di registro.


Esempio: cancellazione del registro eventi di sistema (SEL):

Eseguire una query su iDRAC per ottenere il registro degli eventi di sistema e verificare che l'errore sia presente nell'output. 

Prima di cancellare il registro eventi di sistema, tenere presente che non sono presenti altri errori che devono essere risolti. Inoltre, salvare il registro in /var/log/hardware come descritto in KB 49569.

In questo esempio 192.168.219.101 corrisponde all'IP iDRAC del nodo 1:

Verificare che l'elenco sia stato cancellato:
