Symptoms

受影响的版本：DM5500 5.13、5.14 受到影响。

DM5500 和 vCenter 加载了运行每小时的 VADP 备份，并配置了 Swap File 排除和元数据索引编制。

一段时间后，具有上述配置的系统会遇到虚拟机备份失败，并显示错误：“
Cannot connect to backup server： [5040]".

Cause

系统从 VMware VADP 工作负载的角度大量加载，并具有“swapfile exclusion”选项。

在策略上可能启用或未启用“元数据索引编制”。

随着时间的推移，系统会耗尽与存储系统的所有内部连接。

当虚拟机保护引擎或 vCenter 耗尽资源时，不会清理创建到存储系统的连接。

随着时间的推移，连接发生泄漏，这会导致备份停滞。

解决 方案：
    1.识别发生错误的虚拟机保护引擎。在 PowerProtect Data Manager UI 中重新启动虚拟机保护引擎： 

PPDM UI

    2.从 UI 添加其他虚拟机保护引擎。这样可以减少现有虚拟机保护引擎的负载。
    3.从保护策略中禁用 Swap File 排除选项。这进一步减少了虚拟机保护引擎上的负载。
