Symptoms

노드는 매일 /var/log/messages에서 다음 4개의 메시지를 받습니다  
May 14 09:46:24 avamar systemd[1]: Started Run SUSEConnect --keepalive.
May 15 09:46:23 avamar systemd[1]: Starting Run SUSEConnect --keepalive...
May 15 09:46:24 avamar SUSEConnect[13989]: The environment variable HTTP_PROXY is discouraged.  Use http_proxy.
May 15 09:46:24 avamar SUSEConnect[13989]: Error sending keepalive: System is not registered. Use the --regcode parameter to register it.
그리고 /data01/cur/err.log 
2023/05/16-08:46:27.74973 {0.0} [log-messages:109]  ERROR: <0001> kernel error: May 16 09:46:24 avamar SUSEConnect[4584]: Error sending keepalive: System is not registered. Use the --regcode parameter to register it.

Cause

SUSEConnect는 SLES 기반 운영 체제를 SCC 또는 RMT에 등록하는 툴입니다. 등록된 시스템은 설치된 패키지에 대한 업데이트를 수신합니다. 예를 들어 운영 체제의 보안을 강화하기 위한 것입니다. SUSEConnect를 사용하면 기본 시스템 기능을 확장하는 확장 및 모듈을 등록할 수도 있습니다.

SuseConnect가 2023R1/2023R2/2023R3 OS 보안 롤업에서 실수로 활성화되었습니다.

Resolution

1. 관리자로 로그인하고 루트로 승격합니다. 

su -

2. 모든 노드에서 SUSEConnect를 비활성화합니다.

ssh-add ~/.ssh/rootid
mapall --noerror --all+ --user=root 'systemctl disable --now suseconnect-keepalive.timer'

3. 절차 완료
