Symptoms
From the UI, an LCM upgrade to 7.0.411 fails with the following error:
{"task_id": "46ec51af-8940-41b8-a2d5-f1ccd136fd82", "state": "FAILURE", "error": {"code": "", "message": "Task execution got error:
'vmodl.fault.InvalidArgument'", "params": []}
Cause
VxRail-managed vCenter implementations are not supported with vSphere+ and VMware vSAN+ connected subscription licenses.
In VxRail environments when using these types of connected subscriptions, the vCenter must be converted to customer-managed before the first VxRail LCM operation.
