Symptoms

spfile 的还原失败，并显示以下错误： 
RMAN> connect ********
2> 
3> CREATE SPFILE 
RMAN-00571: ===========================================================
RMAN-00569: =============== ERROR MESSAGE STACK FOLLOWS ===============
RMAN-00571: ===========================================================
RMAN-00558: error encountered while parsing input commands
RMAN-01009: syntax error: found "spfile": expecting one of: "catalog, global, restore, script, virtual"
RMAN-01007: at line 3 column 8 file: /tmp/rman_script_xxxx_8368

Cause

问题出在 Oracle 版本上。
对于 Oracle 11g，需要 RMAN 子句才能在子句中添加 sql 。
对于 Oracle 12c 和 19c，这不是必需的。例如：

RMAN> connect ********
2>
3> sql "CREATE SPFILE"

 

Resolution

此问题已在 PowerProtect Data Manager 19.15 中得到永久修复。
当前的解决方法是先使用 CLI 还原 SPFILE，然后在没有 SPFILE 的 UI 中执行其余替代还原。
