Symptoms

A file system backup for a Linux Client fails. The following error message is found in the workflow logs: 
151821:save: Unable to send indication 'Success while saving <file with path>
' to jobd: Too many indications attempted.
--- Job Indications ---
cannot stat <file with path>: Input/output error

Cause

The file system "/dev/mapper/XXXX" associated with the saveset was not healthy. 
[root@<client>#  tune2fs -l  /dev/mapper/XXXX | grep -i state
Filesystem state:         clean with errors

Resolution

Consult with Linux Admin to run FSCK for the unhealthy file system.
