De wachtwoorden voor de Windows 10 IoT-image zijn met ingang van release 2308 gewijzigd.

Volgens de richtlijn Security Development Lifecycle (SDL) 7.0 moet elk apparaat een uniek wachtwoord hebben.

Met behulp van het serienummer van elk apparaat (omdat dit uniek is):

  • Beheerdersaccounts:
    • De standaard gebruikersnaam is Admin
    • Het standaard hoofdlettergevoelige wachtwoord is Admin#<serial number of the device>
  • Gebruikersaccounts:
    • De standaard gebruikersnaam is User
    • Het standaard hoofdlettergevoelige wachtwoord is User#<serial number of the device>
