Wanneer u Dayone.log of shortterm.log bekijkt, mislukken de geconfigureerde hosts met get_customized_vibs geselecteerd. Dit wordt gebruikt voor het vergelijken van het nieuwe knooppunt en het geconfigureerde knooppunt.

Het script voor de statuscontrole van het knooppunt zit vast op de query, het geconfigureerde knooppuntproces en het logboek van de knooppuntstatuscontrole toont dat het 504 Gateway Time-out retourneert.

Cause

Dit probleem doet zich voor wanneer een specifieke routinetaak (vScheduleCheckVsanConfigLro) wordt gestart wanneer de LRO-taakwachtrij van vCenter al vol is met taken in de wachtrij. Dit zorgt ervoor dat vpxd-services op het vCenter niet meer reageren. Dit kan er verder toe leiden dat de do-host geen informatie van het geconfigureerde knooppunt verkrijgt.

Resolution

Dit probleem is opgelost in vCenter Server 7.0 Update 3i (buildnummer 20845200).

Oplossing:
Wijzig de specifieke parameters config.vmacore.threadPool.TaskMax in vCenter in een waarde hoger of vergelijkbaar met 200.

Start alle services opnieuw op vCenter en de vpxa- en hostd-services op elke host. Plaats elke host in de onderhoudsmodus voordat u de opdrachten erop uitvoert. 
On ESXi hosts:
#Rolling restart the ESXi host daemon and vCenter Agent services using these commands:
/etc/init.d/hostd restart
/etc/init.d/vpxa restart

On vCenter
#take a snapshot of vcenter server
#service-control --stop --all
#service-control --start --all
