Symptoms

L'abilitazione di PowerProtect Data Manager Disaster Recovery su un sistema precedentemente configurato e poi disabilitato può generare un errore. Viene segnalato il seguente errore per il lavoro "Data Domain Boost auto-configuration for primary source": 
User account verification error. Deleting user and trying again Failed to delete user account. Please manually delete it

Cause

Questo problema può verificarsi quando si abilitano i backup DR di PowerProtect Data Manager su un sistema in cui i backup DR erano stati configurati in precedenza e sono stati disabilitati.

Resolution

Identificare l'account utente associato all'unità di storage SysDR* interessata in PowerProtect Data Manager seguendo questa procedura:

  1. Connettersi tramite SSH al terminale PowerProtect Data Manager
  2. Passare all'utente root.
su root
  1. Cambiare la directory.
cd /usr/local/brs/puppet/scripts
  1. Eseguire questo comando per ottenere le informazioni sul DR configurate in precedenza:
./get_sdr_config_credential.py SysDR_$(hostname -s)

  1. Prendere nota del nome utente. Nell'output di esempio precedente, il nome utente è: SysDR_ppdm199
  2. Connessione alla console web di Data Domain (DD)
  3. Individuare l'unità di storage SysDR-name<>.
  4. Impostare l'account utente dell'unità di storage sul nome utente ottenuto dall'output del passaggio 4.
  5. Riprovare la configurazione DR in PowerProtect Data Manager.
  6. Se si verifica nuovamente un errore, eliminare l'account utente da "Administration-Access-Local>> Users" nella console DD.
  7. Riprovare la configurazione DR da PowerProtect Data Manager. L'account viene ricreato in DD.
