Symptoms

Scenario:
   - I server 14G e le nuove memorie (aggiornamento o sostituzione di parti) installati nel sistema non vengono rilevati con un messaggio simile al seguente:

2023-11-11 20:20:52    1959506    PST0128    No memory is detected.
2023-11-11 20:20:51    1959505    PST0128    No memory is detected.


Errore Nessuna memoria rilevata
 

 

Cause

Assicurarsi di aver esaminato la famiglia di processori e le nuove specifiche di memoria nel caso in cui vengano aggiunte (o sostituite memorie diverse).

Resolution

Come documentato, i processori Skylake richiedono memorie di densità di 8 GB. Pertanto, le memorie con densità da 16 GB non dovrebbero funzionare.
