Cause

The issue is not coming from the Avamar side. Data has already been taken from NAS over NDMP and stored on Data Domain.
The Issue happens after a successful connection to Data Domain and after opening the file system container.
It is a permissions issue reading the file on ECS 'Elastic Cloud Storage'.

DD team has confirmed that the data has been moved to cloud tier in DD.
Data cannot be restored from cloud tier directly from Avamar.

Resolution

  • Engage the Data Domain team to confirm where is the data. Alternatively, confirm with the customer if data is stored on a cloud tier.
  • Move the data back to Data Domain from the cloud. Alternatively, restore directly from the cloud.
  • Perform the restore again.
