使用 NetWorker Web 用户界面 （NWUI） 将 Data Domain 添加到 NetWorker 服务器时，创建页面中会省略必需 （*） 星号，但在编辑已添加的 Data Domain 时会显示。
添加 Data Domain 时需要 HOSTS。
在 Data Domain 日志中，显示以下错误：
WARNING: Failed to verify the password for user ddboost. Error is 7:Authentication failure.Cause
NWUI 页面不显示 （*） 星号。因此，用户省略了将备份服务器主机名添加到该字段。他们收到如下所示的错误。

Resolution
创建 Data Domain 时，您必须添加：
- DDBOOST 用户的访问用户名和密码
- 将备份服务器的名称 （FQDN） 添加到主机，创建工作正常。
提醒：在创建 Data Domain 字段后对其进行编辑时。将显示 （*） 星号！
