NetWorker NWUI Data Domainホスト作成の問題

Symptoms

NetWorker Webユーザー インターフェイス(NWUI)を使用してData DomainをNetWorkerサーバーに追加する場合、作成ページでは必須(*)のアスタリスクが省略されますが、すでに追加されているData Domainを編集すると表示されます。
Data Domainを追加する場合は、HOSTSが必要です。

Data Domainログには、次のエラーが表示されます。

WARNING: Failed to verify the password for user ddboost.  Error is 7:Authentication failure.

Cause

NWUIページには、(*)アスタリスクは表示されません。このため、ユーザーはバックアップ サーバーのホスト名をフィールドに追加しません。次に示すように、エラーが表示されます。




の横に * がありません。

Resolution

Data Domainを作成する場合は、以下を追加する必要があります。

  • DDBOOSTユーザーのアクセス ユーザー名とパスワード
  • バックアップ サーバーの名前(FQDN)をホストに追加すると、問題なく作成されます。
メモ: Data Domainフィールドを作成した後で編集する場合。(*)アスタリスクが表示されます!
