Symptoms

Het maken van een SAP HANA-client met behulp van de configuratiewizard NetWorker Management Console (NMC) mislukt met:

The program '/usr/sap/hostctrl/exe/saphostctrl' terminated with the error code 256

Cause

De SAP-hostagent wordt niet uitgevoerd.

Resolution

  1. Start het SAP-hostagentproces.
/usr/sap/hostctrl/exe/saphostexec -restart
  1. Controleer of de agent wordt uitgevoerd.
/usr/sap/hostctrl/exe/saphostexec -status
  1. Probeer de clientconfiguratie vanuit NMC opnieuw uit te voeren.
