Symptoms

En PowerProtect Data Manager 19.14/19.15, los respaldos del sistema de archivos pueden fallar con el siguiente error:

ABF0001: Unable to protect the asset <Drive> on the host <Server> from the backup performed at time <DATE> <TIME> because the following error occurred: 

Unable to generate VHDx backup stream for volume \\?\GLOBALROOT\Device\HarddiskVolumeShadowCopy<nn>.

El registro del sistema de archivos del agente muestra lo siguiente:

PowerProtect Data Manager notice BuiltStream read request total bytes to read = <value>

PowerProtect Data Manager critical Unable to write data into multiple buffers for save-set ID '<SaveSetID>': Invalid argument (errno=22) 

PowerProtect Data Manager critical Unable to generate VHDx backup stream for volume \\?\GLOBALROOT\Device\HarddiskVolumeShadowCopy<Value>

Cause

Este es un problema en la versión de DDBOOST utilizada en File System Agent 19.14/19.15.

Resolution

Dell Technologies recomienda que los usuarios actualicen a versiones de PowerProtect Data Manager posteriores a 19.16.0-15.
