Avamar: FOUT "De SSH-daemon wordt niet uitgevoerd" na de installatie van OS Rollup 2024R1v2

Symptoms

Na een installatie van OS Security Rollup 2024R1v2 wordt er een gebeurtenis geregistreerd:

Cause

Tijdens de installatie van OS Security Rollup 2024R1v2 wordt de versie van OpenSSH bijgewerkt naar versie 8.4p1. De nieuwe versie ziet er anders uit in de ps -ef output dan de vorige versies.

De MCS kan niet controleren of de SSH-daemon actief is en rapporteert de SSH-status verkeerd.

Resolution

Dit probleem is een fout-negatief en heeft geen invloed op de Avamar-functionaliteit of Avamar-prestaties.

Engineering heeft bevestigd dat de oplossing in de volgende cumulatieve patch voor Avamar versie 19.8, 19.9, 19.10 en 19.10 SP1 zit op het volgende:
  • 19.8: Hotfix 338843
  • 19.9: Hotfix 338827
  • 19.10 (19.10.0-135) en 19.10 SP1 (19.10.0-166): Hotfix 338839
